CAPTAIN MARVEL X AVENGERS

Captain Marvel is undoubtedly the most powerful superhero in the MCU – so much so, in fact, that she was presented as the potential saviour thanks to that emergency pager during the dire ending of Avengers: Infinity War . So some fans were left asking themselves why didn't she have a bigger part to play in Endgame , as she spent most of the movie in another part of the universe. In a recent interview with Empire , the directors behind the last two Avengers movies sat down and explained their thinking when it came to Carol Danvers' role. "It was a story about the original six," Joe Russo said. "That was the focus of the film, to conclude a 10-year saga about those characters. And Carol's a fairly new character. "[Captain Marvel] had no depth of relationship with those other characters, which on one side is an opportunity, but also – when you have a story that's this size – you have to work with an economy of storytelling in order to maximi...

BOBINSKY MEDAL

How audiences know Mr. Bobinsky is Russian not only has to do with his accent, but the medal that he proudly wears on his shirt. Even while wearing a dirty tank top, Mr. Bobinsky still has his medal all shiny and pinned to his chest. This medal isn’t your run of the mill badge, though. It’s a medal given to the nuclear clean-up team after the Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster in 1986. Mr. Bobinsky’s medal even says “ Participant in the Clean-Up Campaign ” and has the image of a drop of blood on it. The blood drop has three lines, with each line representing a certain type of radiation. It is the only medal that was given out to participants of a nuclear clean-up. The film’s creators have said that Mr. Bobinsky is blue due to being outside in the cold all the time. That being said, due to being exposed to radiation for such a long time during the clean-up, this could also explain his skin color (in an animated world, anyway), as well as his desire for eating raw beets.

THE SNOW GLOBE

The Detroit Zoo snow globe becomes an important aspect throughout the entire movie. It’s one of the first things Coraline unpacks in the new house, and later on, Coraline’s real mom and dad get trapped inside of it. It seems like just a regular snow globe of a fountain from the Detroit Zoo, but it has a bit more factual detail to it than that. The Horace H. Rackham Memorial Fountain is located at the very center of the Detroit Zoo. The fountain features two bronze bears that stand tall at ten feet high, making for an incredibly large fountain that pours water into a seventy-five-thousand-gallon pool. The fountain has become a well-known landmark within the zoo. When you look closely at the snow globe Coraline has, the fountain is a replica of the real-life zoo fountain, bears included.  The bears disappear when Coraline saves her parents. Afterward, Coraline’s mom ends up blaming Coraline for “breaking” the snow globe.

GHOSTS PICTURES

The 3 ghosts kids are not only evident on the appearance of their spirit. The Other Mother has a picture of each one of them on her wall, and the two elderly neighbours also have a pot of candy with the date each one of those kids were trapped by the bad woman - the Other Mother.

MESSAGE SONG

The song that Coraline's Other Father sings and plays on the piano is in fact a message about the obscure facts that are going on in the Other World.

ASLAN'S MANE

THE WARDROBE

The Wardrobe was a magical portal in Professor Kirke's House that linked Earth to the world of Narnia , if only for a short time.  The Wardrobe as it appears in the Disney/Walden Media film of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe . The Wardrobe was a magical portal in Professor Kirke's House that linked Earth to the world of Narnia, if only for a short time.  History The wardrobe was commissioned by Professor Digory Kirke sometime before the Second World War. Its origins, however, stretched back many years earlier to Digory's own adventure in Narnia. During that adventure, Aslan had sent Digory to retrieve an apple from a magic tree and bring it back to him. After Digory did so, the apple was planted in the ground and grew into a beautiful tree with silver bark, known as the Tree of Protection. This tree acted like a shield, keeping the witch Jadis out of Narnia for many years after it was planted. Aslan later gave an apple f...

TIME DIFFERENCES IN NARNIA WORLD

Narnian Time Edit Share "Every stick and stone you see, every icicle… is Narnia!" " It's the usual muddle about times, Pole. " ―Eustace Scrubb to Jill Pole Narnian Time is a term commonly used to refer to the passage of time in the world of Narnia, as opposed to the passage of time on Earth (with England as the usual place of reference). Relative timelines In Narnia, time did not feel any faster or slower than on Earth (for example, a year in either world took three hundred sixty-five days); however, the relative speed of Narnian time to Earth-time was inconsistent and erratic. When one was on Earth, there was no way to tell how quickly Narnian time was going. Between the Birth of Narnia (Earth year 1900) and the Pevensies' first visit (1940), forty years passed on Earth while a millenium passed in Narn...
